Land & Labor Acknowledgment
Last updated October 15, 2026
I live and work on the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe, whose people continue to care for these lands, waters, and communities. I honor their sovereignty and enduring presence, and acknowledge the dispossession and ongoing harms of colonization.
I also acknowledge the stolen labor of enslaved Africans and their descendants, and the exploited and often invisible labor of Indigenous people, immigrants, and others whose work has sustained this country.
Connection carries responsibility. In my life and practice, I commit to continued learning, challenging systems of oppression, supporting Indigenous sovereignty, and honoring the labor and care that sustain our communities.
